SAPD: 1 dead, 1 injured after shooting on South Side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — An investigation is underway after a fatal shooting on the South Side, and one person has been detained.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, shots were fired around 7 p.m. on Monday in the 1500 block of Roosevelt Avenue. When police arrived at the scene, they found a person in their 30s dead. Investigators say a person in their 60s was also shot multiple times and rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
One person in their 30s was detained at a hotel nearby, but no other details were given on their identity.
The motive for the shooting is unknown.
